Grace's Jet Airplane Pattern #7231 was originally designed in 1951 for a friend of Grace's husband. Recently a women married to a Navy pilot sent us an email saying her mother had knit this sock for her father back in 1957. She could hardly wait to get started knitting a pair of socks for her husband and passing on the legacy.
